Sunn O))) - s/t

Following up the Eternity's Pillars EP they dropped last year, everyone's favourite drone project is back with a new full-length, self-titled album.

Sunn O))) is one of those bands that I keep wanting to write about, but it's difficult when I've reviewed a half-dozen of their albums. While I enjoy everything they put out, it's difficult to find new things to say about such intentionally featureless, droning music.

If you're at all familiar with anything Sunn O))) have done before, this record won't surprise you in the least. I've been listening to it as I play Slay The Spire and it seems perfectly suited.
